Australian unemployment falls to 6.4%

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has released labour force data for the month of January which has recorded 29,100 jobs growth alongside a 0.2% fall in the headline unemployment rate to 6.4%.
Below are the key highlights:
The result pretty much matched analysts’ expectations of 30,000 jobs growth and a fall in the unemployment rate to 6.5%.
