Another quarantine failure plunges Perth into lockdown

Yesterday afternoon WA Premier Mark McGowan announced that greater metropolitan Perth, the Peel region, and the south west regions would all go into a five-day lockdown as of 6pm Sunday.

This came after a male hotel quarantine worker in Perth tested positive to the UK strain of COVID-19.
