QLD threatens NSW with prolonged border closure

With NSW recording 8 new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19, QLD Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has threatened to keep the state’s border shut unless NSW can quickly get on top of the situation:

Queensland has given New South Wales just 48 hours to track down the source of three mystery cases, or the state will refuse to reopen its border on November 1.

It’s not good news for anyone hoping to visit Queensland in early November.
