Perth’s rental market heats up

Last week I declared that it was “time to buy Perth property”, claiming that after six years of price and rent falls, the city was poised for a rebound.
According to new data from the Real Estate Institute of WA (REIWA), Perth’s rental vacancy rate has plummeted with listings down to mining boom levels:
Western Australia’s rental market shows no sign of cooling with the number of homes and units for rent falling to the lowest figure since the peak of the resources boom in 2012.
