Virgin Australia sale a great outcome

Back in June, private equity fund Bain Capital was announced as the successful bidder to acquire Virgin Australia.

A letter to Virgin creditors and employees from administrator Deloitte suggests that Bain Capital’s acquisition is on track for a 31 October completion:

Creditors had on 4 September accepted a proposal that is structured around 10 deeds of company arrangement (DOCAs) for all 41 VAH entities in voluntary administration.
