Coalition takes aim at Victoria’s “third world” contact tracing

The federal and Victorian Coalition has taken direct aim at Victoria’s contact tracing failures, which allowed the COVID-19 virus to mushroom into a major pandemic after escaping the state’s failed hotel quarantine.

Victorian Opposition leader, Michael O’Brien, took to Sky News over the weekend where he described the state’s contact tracing system as “third world” and not fit for purpose:
