Victoria now has 8,181 active COVID-19 infections, 96.3% of the nation’s total. By contrast, NSW has 295 active COVID-19 infections, 3.5% of the nation’s total:

Victoria has now recorded 15,288 COVID-19 infections since the pandemic began, nearly quadruple NSW’s 3,897:
