Scandal embroils taxpayer funded Migrant Workers’ Centre

A whistleblower has accused staff at the taxpayer-funded Migrant Workers’ Centre (MWC) of forcing employees to campaign for Labor in the lead-up to the 2018 state election, according to the Herald-Sun:

Staff at a taxpayer-funded support centre for migrant workers were ordered to clear their diaries so they could campaign for the Labor Party, a whistleblower has claimed.

The Migrant Workers’ Centre has repeatedly denied claims it forced staff to campaign to help Labor in the lead-up to the 2018 state election.
