THE state’s most prestigious university has upheld its decision to suspend student activist Drew Pavlou.

In a decision sent to the student today, the University of Queensland’s Senate Discipline Appeals Committee suspended the student for the duration of the second semester of this year and said he would have to complete 25 hours of campus service prior to June 30, 2021.

It comes after the outspoken 21-year-old philosophy, English and history student appealed his two-year suspension in May over 11 allegations of misconduct.
