Callam Pickering, economist at global jobs site Indeed, has release his weekly job postings update, which shows that new job postings – i.e. those on Indeed AU for seven days or less – have stalled:
As shown above, new job postings are tracking 17% below the same time last year, but have worsened from 14% a week ago.
However, total job postings on Indeed are now tracking 36% below last year’s trend, an improvement from 39% a week ago and 46% a month ago:
