A veritable conga line of housing experts have slammed the Morrison Government’s HomeBuilder subsidy as being both poorly targeted and grossly inequitable.
The harshest criticism comes from Adjunct Professor of Architecture, Geoff Hanmer, who claims HomeBuilder is “possibly the most-complex least-equitable construction jobs program ever devised”:
It is possibly the most complex and least equitable program the government could have devised to deliver construction jobs.
