Auction clearances bounce off weak volumes

CoreLogic’s preliminary auction report shows the clearance rate nationally rebounding to 64.5% from last week’s 59.6%, driven by Sydney (70.8%):

However, auction volumes were down by more than 60% from last year’s levels:
