Auction clearance rate rebounds off crashing volumes

CoreLogic’s preliminary auction report revealed that the national auction clearance rate rebounded to 59.6%, albeit off very thin volumes:

The rebound in the national clearance rate was driven by Sydney and Melbourne, whose preliminary clearance rates rose to around 63%:

However, auction volumes were around 40% of last year’s levels.
