Consumption still crashing despite record economic stimulus

Economic consultants, AlphaBeta, have updated their real time tracker on the Morrison Government’s stimulus package, which shows that it is helping to buttress the Australian economy:

AlphaBeta & illion’s real time tracker shows total spending per person fell to 18 per cent below normal levels last week (see chart below).
