The build-out of the National Broadband Network (NBN) is now only five months from completion:

Half-yearly results being released next week will confirm that NBN is on track to complete the construction of a network passing 11.5 million premises by June 30, a commitment made five years ago…

In effect, NBN Co must transform itself from being one of the country’s largest contractors of construction services to ensuring the network is a platform for the adoption of the latest technologies.
