Recessionberg’s luck is about to run out

Apparently Australia’s L-plated Treasurer, Josh Recessionberg, is about to try to convince the nation that it’s all good with the economy:

Labor will accuse the Morrison government of putting the nation at risk from a “cancer of complacency” ahead of a series of addresses by Treasurer Josh Frydenberg to reassure consumers over the state of the economy amid record low interest rates and stalling wages.

Shadow treasurer Jim Chalmers will use a major speech in Melbourne on Monday to map out Labor’s economic agenda, focusing heavily on the government and accusing it of allowing the economy to “run on fumes”.
