Australian property values surge 1.4% in October

CoreLogic’s dwelling price results have been released for October, which reveals a strong 1.4% increase in values over the month at the 5-city level, driven by surging values across Sydney (1.7%) and Melbourne (2.3%):

It was the fourth consecutive monthly rise in home values at the 5-city level:

Over the October quarter, dwelling values rose by 3.7% across the major capitals:
