Roy Morgan unemployment improves

The latest Roy Morgan Research (RMR) unemployment estimate for August was steady ay 8.7%, but was down by 2.3% year-on-year:

Underemployment has also fallen by 0.9% over the past year to 7.1%, with labour underutilisation tracking at 15.8% (down from 3.2% from a year ago):
