Australia’s youth working multiple jobs to make ends meet

With youth labour underutilisation running around 30%, driven by high unemployment (12.0%) and underemployment (17.8%):

It’s no surprise that today’s Jobs in Australia, 2011-12 to 2016-17 survey from the ABS shows that one in four people aged under 30 are working multiple jobs:
Head of Labour Statistics at the ABS Bjorn Jarvis said: “Around one in every four employed people under 30 were multiple job holders in 2016-17, and this was highest around the age of 19.”
