Retail recession forecast to drag on

A recent survey of Australian retailers by Macquarie found that 72% of respondents expect profits to be stable or fall in 2019-20. The survey also shows that almost 50% of respondents reported negative trading conditions over the Easter and end-of-financial-year sales periods. From The Australian:
