New home sales stabilise

From the HIA:

“New home sales in the June quarter were up by just 0.8 per cent on the preceding quarter. This is the first quarterly improvement since the December quarter in 2017,” stated HIA’s Chief Economist, Tim Reardon.

The HIA New Home Sales report – a monthly survey of the largest volume home builders in the five largest states – is a leading indicator of future trends in the residential building industry.
