NSW stamp duty bust deepens

The NSW Office of State Revenue has released stamp duty data to May, which reveals a massive $1.6 billion (23%) decline over the past year and a $2.1 billion (29%) decline since stamp duty receipts peaked in October 2017:

The latest retracement in stamp duty receipts follows a sharp 22% decline in property transfers in the year to May:
