PC: Population growth makes Australia’s water situation “unsustainable”

After yesterday it was revealed that water storages in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are plummeting, another report has raised the alarm that Australian water supplies are “unsustainable” given the nation’s booming population trajectory. From The SMH:

Water consumption is also rising in Australia’s cities in line with population growth, but our growing urban population is still overwhelmingly reliant on rainfall for water.
