Creighton: Nothing to fear from Labor’s negative gearing policy

The Australian’s Adam Creighton has hosed the property lobby’s scare campaign over Labor’s negative gearing policy, arguing that voters have little to fear:

Negative gearing in the US ended in 1986 with Ronald Reagan’s big-bang tax reform, which cut tax rates and broadened bases. The US economy and housing market survived, and ours can, too.
