Auction market shows faint pulse

CoreLogic has released its preliminary auction report, which reported a rebounding auction clearance rate, albeit on very weak volumes.
The preliminary national auction clearance rate was 58.8%, well above last week’s preliminary clearance rate of 54.6% but still below the 62.1% final clearance rate recorded in the same weekend of last year:

Auction volumes nationally were just 1,472, which was way below last year’s 2,311 auctions:
