Auction clearances bounce back after Easter slump

CoreLogic has released its preliminary auction report, which reported a rebounding clearance rate following the Easter Long Weekend slump.
The preliminary national auction clearance rate was 54.6%, well above last week’s preliminary clearance rate of 49.0% but still below the 60.3% final clearance rate recorded in the same weekend of last year:

However, auction volumes nationally were just 1,019, which was way below last year’s 2,577 auctions:
