Sydney’s “mounting backlog of unsold housing”

SQM Research’s Louis Christopher was interviewed by the Daily Telegraph, where he noted that Sydney’s for sale listings have surged to decade highs and are likely to climb higher over the spring selling period, further dragging down values:

New data published today showed the number of homes for sale across the city surged 11 per cent last month to hit 35,704 — the highest volume recorded over a February since 2009.
