Australian GDP shocker intensifies

We now have all the partials (over 70% of the data) we can get to “now-cast” 4Q real GDP. And the results are not good. Consumption has flat-lined, while residential investment and net exports have detracted from growth, with insufficient offset from public sector spending and inventory build.
