Can someone please hire some editors at The AFR? Because according to the paper, Sydney’s population is falling:

Obviously not. Sydney’s population growth is turbo-charged, driven by mass immigration. Moreover, it is projected to continue for the next half century, with Sydney’s population to nearly double to almost 10 million people, driven entirely by immigration:
