Labor’s negative gearing policy to hit Liberal electorates hardest

The Coalition’s incessant lies that Labor’s signature negative gearing and capital gains tax (CGT) reforms would primarily impact ordinary working Australians has been debunked again, this time by a Fairfax investigation showing that the nation’s wealthiest and largely Liberal-held electorates will be hit the hardest, whereas Labor electorates are among those that would be least hit:

Shadow treasurer Chris Bowen said… “These results are totally unsurprising given that these tax concessions overwhelmingly benefit the wealthiest Australians,” he said.
