CoreLogic: Year end mortgages tanked

CoreLogic is out with its first weekly report for the year and it does not bode well for house prices ahead. Listings barely retrenched and are ready to rocket into the Autumn not-selling season:

We are at a much higher base than we were in 2011 so look for all new records of unsold stock to be posted in the year ahead.

Just as discouraging for property owners, mortgage credit was smashed into Xmas:
