CoreLogic: Sydney rents are plummeting

From CoreLogic’s Quarterly Rental Report:

Weekly rents across the nation fell by -0.1% in December 2018 to be -0.3% lower over the fourth quarter of 2018 however, rents increased by 0.5% over the 12 months to December 2018.

Capital city rents were -0.4% lower over the quarter and unchanged year-on-year while regional market rents were 0.3% higher over the quarter to be 1.8% higher over the past 12 months.
