Moves afoot to legalise pot in Victoria

While the developed world is gradually legalising cannabis, Australia remains stuck in the dark ages following the Senate rejecting a private member’s bill to legalise recreational weed in October.

However, there’s been some movement at the state and territory level with the ACT moving to legalise weed next year; although this faces a potential High Court Challenge for breaching federal law.
