The Australian’s David Uren has penned another spurious article spruiking the mass immigration ‘Big Australia’ policy. Let’s examine his arguments:

Population growth remains controversial. Migrants add to demand for goods and services and to the supply of labour, so make little difference to per capita income beyond the contribution that their higher average education makes to growth potential.
