Sydney drives fall in high-rise apartment approvals

Yesterday’s dwelling approvals data for September from the ABS reported a 1.9% monthly trend decline in unit & apartment approvals:

At the capital city level, which is presented in rolling annual terms since it isn’t seasonally adjusted, dwelling approvals across all major markets have fallen from their most recent highs:
