Regional Australia reject’s Coalition’s ‘migrants to the bush’

While the Coalition continues to repeat the line that Australia’s regions are “begging for migrants”, Nicola Philip – an Age contributor based in Apollo Bay – has rejected any injection of population growth and the transferal of Melbourne’s problems to the regions:

….we value the lifestyle – the slower pace, the lack of traffic, the easy commute to work, the sense of community and the reduced pressure overall.
