The poison of negative equity is spreading with buyers of off-the-plan apartments having to find additional funds because settlement valuations have plunged. From The ABC:
“We’ve seen a couple of instances with our clients where the valuations have come in lower than when the properties are registered,” conveyancer Alex Sapounas said.
