Labor/Coalition to unite behind ‘Big Australia’

Labor leader, Bill Shorten, has written a letter to Scott Morrison asking that he consider creating a population taskforce that would outline rapid population growth recommendations that both parties could accept. From The Australian:

[Shorten] suggests the independent taskforce could be established under Treasury and comprise six members to be agreed upon by the government and opposition.
