The ride share safety net that has crashed the unemployment rate while doing nothing for the underemployed is swiftly being shredded, via Domainfax:

When Emmett D’Urso started working as a ride-share driver four years ago, he was earning up to $45 per hour. He now earns $16 an hour after costs including fuel, insurance and maintenance.

…A new survey of 1100 Uber and other ride-share drivers to be released on Wednesday has found that they earn an average of $16 per hour before costs.
