Auction clearance rates remain stuck in gutter

CoreLogic released its auction report yesterday, which reported another very weak weekend of auctions.

The preliminary national auction clearance rate was just 53.7% versus 49.1% last weekend (later revised down to 45.8%); albeit last weekend’s auctions were impacted by the AFL Grand Final.

The preliminary clearance rate was also way below the 64.4% recorded in the same weekend of last year:
