Youth labour market begins to soften

Yesterday’s ABS labour force release for August revealed a further softening Australian youth labour market – i.e. those aged 15 to 24 years old – as both full-time and part-time jobs growth weakened.
While the trend headline unemployment rate fell to 11.20% in August from 11.38% in July:
