Transurban has NSW taxpayers bent over a barrel

Just a week after Transurban strengthened its monopoly in toll roads by acquiring 51% of Sydney’s WestConnex project, it has been revealed that Stage 3(b) of the project – the highly complicated Rozelle Interchange – could be 18 months late:

Sydney’s Westconnex motorway could be completed up to 18 months late, after the new owners of the road claimed a crucial part of the project will open much later than expected.
