Mirvac warns on commercial property downturn

Surging commercial property values will not end in a bust but companies need to be ready as the cycle turns, according to Mirvac chief executive Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz.

“We certainly don’t see boom-bust conditions. We do see an end to the rising tide that has lifted all boats, which is the cap rate compression cycle,” Ms Lloyd-Hurwitz told The Australian ahead of the Property Council’s annual congress in Darwin.
