Idiotic SA Government cuts land tax

The new South Australian (SA) Liberal Government clearly has plans to turn SA into a ponzi state. In addition to seeking to lift Adelaide’s population via immigration, the Liberals have announced that they will cut land tax to lure speculative investment to SA. From The AFR:

[Treasurer Rob Lucas] told The Australian Financial Review he wanted to attract more investors to the state through the land tax reform measures, to make Adelaide more competitive as investors from across the country increasingly homed in on the western suburbs of Sydney and Melbourne as investment destinations.
