15% of Aussies are working multiple jobs

MB’s theme that Australian households are under pressure from falling real income growth, high household debt, and insecure employment has received some support with the ABS yesterday releasing data showing 15% of employed persons (1.9 million people) working second jobs:

Of the 1.9 million multiple job holders, 54% were female and most lived in capital city regions (67%).
