Youth labour market joins part-time jobs boom

Yesterday’s ABS labour force release for June revealed a firmer Australian youth labour market – i.e. those aged 15 to 24 years old – led by a surge in part-time jobs.

The trend headline unemployment rate fell to 11.61% in June from 11.85% in May:
