Retail sales remain weak

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has released retail sales figures for the month of April, which registered flat 0.4 seasonally-adjusted growth over the month, but annual sales growth falling to 2.6%:

In trend terms, annual retail sales growth also slipped to 2.6%.
