Foreign buyers gobble 7.3% of Auckland homes

Statistics New Zealand has commenced collecting data on non-resident purchases of New Zealand homes, and the results are interesting:

In the March 2018 quarter, just over 3 percent of home transfers were to people who didn’t hold New Zealand citizenship or resident visas, Stats NZ said today…
