MSM pushes company tax cut suicide on Coalition

With the Turnbull Government’s company tax cut package seemingly dead in the water after One Nation’s rejection in the Senate, and Coalition MPs questioning the political merits of pursuing the policy, both The AFR and The Australian have launched rear guard actions backing the package.

The AFR has taken direct aim at Pauline Hanson’s “populism” and accused her of kowtowing to Labor’s Bill Shorten, who in turn is accused of backtracking from the Hawke-Keating era of economic reform:
