Despite price falls, there’s almost no affordable houses left in Sydney

The most recent Mapping the Market report from CoreLogic revealed that just 0.9% of Sydney suburbs had a median house value below $500,000 as at March 2018, well down on the 33.8% of suburbs that were priced below $500,000 five years earlier:

Now, CoreLogic has released new research showing that there are only five suburbs in Greater Sydney where the median house price is below $500,000, each of which is located 40 kilometres-plus from the CBD:
